A Day 2 test is the minimum requirement that is needed once you have returned back from a Green List country. From the 19th July those travelling back from an amber list country and were double vaccinated are now needing only a Day 2 test and don’t need to quarantine.

A Day 2 test is a PCR test as this allows for your sample to be genome sequenced. This procedure is important to test for different variants.

You should purchase your Day 2 test before you travel back to UK, as you will need to add the booking reference number on your passenger locator form before you return back to the UK. After you have purchased this test, we will send you the booking reference number that you need.
