Our Fit to Fly PCR Tests
“We have options to include an online consultation with one of our healthcare professionals.”
Our fit-to-fly PCR tests are self-tests that require you to take a swab sample. We have options to include an online consultation with one of our healthcare professionals by choosing the premium PCR test package. Once you have collected your swab sample you will need to pack the swab sample back in the pre-paid postal box that arrived with your test kit and post it in your nearest royal mail postal box. The test kit can take up to 24 hours to arrive at our lab but once this test kit reaches our lab your test result will be processed within 24 hours. As soon as your test has been processed, we will email you your fit to fly certificate, this certificate will also be automatically updated in your Klarity App, making it easy to keep all your test certificates in one place.
Travel Requirement are Changing Rapidly
We understand at Klarity that travel requirements are changing rapidly and therefore, we strongly recommend that you look at the entry requirements for the place of travel via the government website. Some countries require a PCR test, a rapid antigen test or your vaccination status. If the country, you are travelling to requires a negative covid 19 test and a fit-to-fly certificate we advise that your order your test kit 7 days before your fly. A PCR test where you take a nasal swab is required to be done within 72 hours of travel. For a rapid antigen test also known as a lateral flow test will be required to be perform within 48 hours of travel. This test is quick and easy, where you take a nasal swab in each nostril before mixing with a solution and placing 3 drops onto the test device. This test takes 15 minutes for you to get your test result.
3 Flexible Rapid Antigen Options
Klarity has three flexible rapid antigen testing options:
1) Basic Antigen – This test option is fantastic if you are used to taking these tests and feel comfortable with the swab process. Once your purchase this test kit option, you’ll receive an email and text on how to download and log into the Klarity app. On your home screen you’ll see “My Appointments and Tests” – click here and the basic antigen testing procedure will be there for you to start. After you have washed your hands and got ready for your test, I advise you lay all your items of your test kit on the table so it is easy for you to collect your sample. Click on the antigen test button and you will be taken to a screen to watch how to perform the test. After this on the next page you can start recording yourself doing the test on our app. The next stage is to wait 15 minutes for your test result before you take a photo of your test device. Upload photo of test device by using the options in the app before taking a photo of your passport. Once you have completed the three easy stages your test certificate will be sent to you within 60 minutes.
